“Let Me Love” is Top 5 Finalist in Song of the Year Competition

On Thursday night, I found out that my song “Let Me Love” placed in the Top Five Finalists in the Christian category for the Second Quarter 2014 Song of the Year competition! I am so excited!

I am SO. EXCITED! This is one of my favourite songs, and I am so thankful for my friend Larrissa agreeing to demo it for me, and that the recording was finally finished earlier this year so I could submit it.

Listen to it below:

Let Me Love

Words & music by Talena Winters

With all my heart, let me love the lost
Give them my hand, lead them to the cross
Compassion move my every part
Let me love with all my heart,
Let me love with all my heart.

With all my mind, let me love the Word
Take it to those who haven’t heard
That if you seek, then you will find
Let me love with all my mind,
Let me love with all my mind.

And as I show your love to man
Though I’m weak and flawed
Let them see, when they look at me,
The perfect Son of God.

With all my strength, let me love the King
Who left his throne, gave up everything
To show that love goes to any length
Let me love with all my strength,
Let me love with all my strength.

And as I show your love to man
Though I’m weak and flawed
Let them see, when they look at me,
The perfect Son of God.

With all my strength, let me love the King
Who left his throne, gave up everything
To show that love goes to any length
Let me love with all my strength,
Let me love with all my strength,
Let me love with all my heart, my mind, and strength.
